Simple Home-made Leave-in Hair Conditioner

This is how you can make your own simple leave in hair conditioner at home:

What you will need:
- A store bought hair conditioner
Suggestion: I use Moogoo's cream conditioner because it does not contain sulfates and it contains natural oils; which are perfect for smoothing frizz and softening hair.
- An oil (optional) I.e; coconut, olive, jojoba or argan oil.
- Water (use distilled water, if preferred)
- A spray bottle

How to make:
Step 1: Fill 1/8 of the spray bottle with your chosen conditioner
Step 2: Add a table spoon of your chosen oil
Step 3: Fill the remainder of the bottle with water, but leave some room for when you shake it (it will foam up)
Step 3 :Shake until the conditioner and oil have fully mixed with the water.

Now you have your own leave-in hair conditioner!

Note: You will need to shake your leave-in-conditioner before each use.

Let me know how you went! :)

Rosacea: What it is, Triggers and Treatment

Rosacea is a skin condition suffered by over 14 million people world wide. It's a daily battle for these suffers, who constantly have to be aware of what they're eating, what products they put on their face, what weather they're exposing themselves to and activities they involve themselves in.

The 4 Stages of Rosacea:
 Stage 1 Mild Rosacea:
Includes redness associated with inflamed broken capillaries (small veins bellow surface of skin).
Stage 2 Moderate Roscaea:
Includes redness which is more noticeable and longer longer lasting. Stage 2 also includes pustules which are unlike acne lesions; the appear like red bumps with a white centre.
Stage 3 Severer Rosacea:
Includes worsened redness and inflammation and larger number of broken capillaries with bumpy skin and more wide spread pustules.
Stage 4 Rhinopyhma:
Permanent redness, skin tissue is thickened resulting in an abnormally shaped and swollen nose (usually in men, rare in women).

Rosacea Triggers:
- Strenuous exercise: such as cardio, exercise that increases hear rate and blood flow.
- Alcohol
- Certain foods: such as gluten, dairy, PH acidic foods such a pizza, citrus fruits.
- Hot beverages
- Water temperature: cold or hot water (water best kept a warm/Luke warm)
- The sun
- Extreme weather: such as wind, snow, heat, cold
- Skin care products: such as acne medications, such as retinol, benzoyl peroxide
- Facial surgery procedures: such as peels, microdermabrasion, rhinoplasty

Rosacea Medical Treatment:
- Antibiotics: Doxycycline
- Topical antibiotics: Metronidazole (brand names: Metrogel, Rozex)
- Topical medication: Azelaic Acid (brand name: Finacea)
- Laser Surgery: To mend broken capillaries thus removing there appearance and redness

If you suspect you have Rosacea, even if its just slight facial flushing speak to your doctor, because the sooner you get treatment the better chance you have at preventing your Rosacea condition from progressing.
Even though Rosacea is not a curable condition (yet) treatment can control it.
